The Aspect Ratio Clutch 2:35 was handmade and manufactured in Los Angeles using hand-picked scarlet leather and solid silver hardware, designed to embody the 2.35:1 widescreen frame cinema’s most iconic proportion reinterpreted as a permanent object of design. Each clutch is individually cut, shaped, and edge-finished by hand before being structured into its precise ratio, allowing the natural luster and tonal movement of each hide to remain intact through time.
Printed across the surface in silver relief is the Cinema Orb, a sculptural emblem cast in solid silver. Its geometry mirrors the frame lines of 35 mm anamorphic film, creating an optical balance between proportion and form. The dual layering of material and symbolism renders the clutch a hybrid artifact: part object of function, part archival document of cinema’s widescreen legacy.
Designed in tribute to cinematic architecture, the Aspect Ratio Clutch features dual elements: • Exterior: Hand-selected scarlet leather finished with a mirrored silver Cinema Orb emblem. • Interior: Scarlet top grain leather lining with reinforced structure, maintaining shape and tactile depth through time.
